Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 pkg. fresh cranberries
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry Jell-O
    1 c. hot water
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 c. celery, fine chopped
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cook sugar and water.
    Add cranberries.
    Simmer for 10 minutes.
    Dissolve Jell-O in hot water, then add cranberry mixture and pineapple and chill slightly.
    Fold in celery and nuts.
    Put in 5-cup mold or 9 x 9-inch square dish.
