Ha'Penny Snacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 lb. sharp cheese, grated
    1 c. plain flour
    1/2 envelope onion soup mix
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Let butter and cheese come to room temperature and mix thoroughly.
    Add remaining ingredients and blend.
    Shape into about 3 rolls, 1-inch in diameter.
    Wrap in wax paper and chill. Slice rolls into slices 1/4-inch thick.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until slightly browned on edges.
    Keeps well in airtight container.
    Yields 6 dozen.
