Crispy Baked Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1/8 tsp. cayenne
1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) broiler-fryer, cut up
1/4 c. margarine
salt and pepper
Preparation

Combine bread crumbs, brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, dry mustard, celery seed and cayenne.
Season chicken with salt and pepper.
Brush each chicken piece with butter.
Roll in crumb mixture to coat.
Arrange chicken, skin side up, so that pieces do not touch, in a shallow baking pan.
Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.
Bake, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until tender. Do not turn.
Makes approximately 6 servings.
