Cornmeal Drop Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. yellow cornmeal
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. buttermilk
2 Tbsp. yogurt
1 egg, beaten
vegetable cooking spray
Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
Combine milk, oil and egg; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Drop batter by heaping tablespoonfuls onto a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Cool on a wire rack. Yields 1 dozen biscuits.
