Vanilla Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour.
    Stir margarine into sugar in a large bowl.
    Add egg and vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Add flour mixture.
    Blend well. Stir in nuts.
    Pour into greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cool and cut into bars or squares.
