Reception Punch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 c. sugar
2 qt. water
1/2 c. crushed mint leaves
2 qt. iced tea
3 qt. orange juice
1 pt. pineapple or grape juice
1 pt. lemon juice
2 gal. water
2 qt. ginger ale
1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries
lemon and orange slices
Preparation

Boil sugar with 2 quarts water for 5 minutes.
Add crushed mint. Cool and strain.
Add tea, juices, and remaining water.
Add ginger ale and cherries just before serving.
Serve over ice and garnish with fruit slices.
Yields 100 servings.
