Mammer'S Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. beef cubes
    1 (1 lb.) bag mixed vegetables
    2 stalks celery, chopped (optional)
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 cans tomatoes, cut up
    5 to 6 potatoes, peeled and diced
    1 c. okra, cut up (optional)
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 head cabbage, chopped
    1 large can tomato juice
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in a large soup pot, except tomato juice. Cover with water and cook until vegetables are tender.
    Add tomato juice and cook about 10 minutes longer.
