Skillet Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb lean ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, pressed
    1 (16 oz) can pinto beans, undrained
    1 (15 oz) can black beans, undrained
    1/4 c steak sauce
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1 (7.5 oz) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
    1 tbsp butter, melted
Preparation
    Cook first 4 ingredients in a 10-inch, oven safe skillet over medium-high heat, stirring until meat crumbles; drain. Stir in beans, steak sauce and pepper.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cut biscuits in half and arrange on meat mixture. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 12-15 minutes.
    Brush biscuits with butter and broil 4 inches from heat (with oven door partially open) 2 minutes or until browned. Serve immediately.
