Butterscotch Frosting(Good Flavor And Quickly Made) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. (1/4 lb. stick) butter
    1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1/4 c. milk
    2 c. (about) sifted confectioners sugar
Preparation
    In
    a
    deep
    8-inch skillet over low heat, melt butter. Add brown
    sugar,
    stirring
    constantly.
    Cook for 2 minutes. Add milk.
    Stir
    until
    mixture comes to a boil.
    Remove from heat. Cool.
    With
    a
    spoon, gradually beat in enough confectioners sugar, keeping smooth, to give good spreading consistency.
    Use as
    frosting for top and sides of a 9-inch square cake.
