Pork Chop Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 or 8 pork chops
    3/4 stick butter or margarine
    1 large onion
    1 green pepper
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 can beef consomme
    1 c. rice (uncooked)
Preparation
    Brown pork chops in butter or margarine.
    Remove from skillet; brown onion and green pepper.
    Combine mushroom soup and beef consomme with rice, then onion and pepper.
    Place in 2-quart casserole with pork chops on top.
    Cover with foil.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    (Trim bones from chops, if desired.)
