Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. hot milk
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 pkg. yeast
    2 Tbsp. lukewarm water
    1 egg, beaten
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Mix hot milk with sugar, salt and shortening and cool to lukewarm.
    Soften yeast in lukewarm water and stir into first mixture.
    Add beaten egg and stir in flour gradually.
    Mix thoroughly, but do not knead.
    Place in refrigerator and keep dough in tightly covered container.
    When ready to use, let the dough come to room temperature before shaping into rolls.
    Place in a greased pan and allow to rise until double in size.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
