Student Ragout - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. bacon
1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak, cubed
3 to 4 carrots, sliced
1/2 medium onion, sliced
5 to 6 medium to large potatoes, sliced
Preparation

In an electric frying pan, place the following in 1 layer: bacon on bottom, cubed round steak, sliced carrots and finish with potatoes on top. Salt and pepper on top to taste. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes at 325\u00b0 and turn down to 275\u00b0 for another 45 minutes.
