Mace'S Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground Italian sausage (mild)
    2 lb. ground beef
    4 eggs
    1 onion, finely chopped
    1 Tbsp. minced garlic
    3 c. sourdough bread crumbs
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    1/2 c. red wine
    3/4 Tbsp. dried basil
    1/2 Tbsp. dried thyme
    1/2 Tbsp. dried oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    1 bunch fresh basil leaves
    4 oz. sundried tomatoes
    4 oz. Jack cheese, sliced
Preparation
    In a large bowl, mix together sausage, ground beef, eggs, onion, garlic, bread crumbs, parsley, wine, basil, thyme, oregano and salt.
    Put mixture on a piece of parchment paper, pressing out to about 3/4-inch thick, forming a rectangle.
    Layer on basil leaves, sundried tomatoes and cheese. Roll meat loaf, jelly roll fashion.
