Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 qt. fresh strawberries
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. oleo
    red food coloring
Preparation
    Stir together sugar and cornstarch. Crush 1/2 quart of the berries and combine with water, sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan.
    Bring to a boil and boil until clear (about 2 minutes). Add oleo and enough red food coloring to give an attractive bright color.
    Place 1 quart strawberries in baked pie shell. When boiled mixture cools, pour over strawberries.
    Chill.
