Sweet Onion Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. Vidalia sweet onions, peeled and sliced
1/4 c. dry white wine or sherry
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
3 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. chives
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Combine onions, wine and butter in 2-quart covered dish. Cook on High (100%) power for 10 to 12 minutes or until tender, stirring once halfway through cooking time.
Stir in flour and seasonings.
Cook on High (100%) power for 30 seconds.
Slowly stir in milk and sour cream.
Cook on High (100%) power for 4 to 6 minutes or until thickened.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over top. Cook on Medium (50%) power for 4 to 6 minutes or until cheese melts.
Serves 8.
