Apple Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1/2 c. Spry or Crisco
    2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Slice apples (about 5 or 6) in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Sweeten apples and sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon as for pie.
    Mix recipe and pour over apples. Bake at 350\u00b0 until cake is done.
