Maryann'S Chicken Gumbo Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. green pepper, diced
    1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
    1 c. diced celery
    2 pkg. Lipton chicken soup mix (any variety)
    garlic salt
    2 to 4 c. cooked, cubed chicken
    1 qt. (about 32 oz.) canned whole tomatoes
    1 pt. or 16 oz. canned corn, drained
    1 qt. or 16 to 32 oz. canned green beans, drained
    1 tsp. hot sauce
    4 1/2 c. (approximately) water
Preparation
    In a large pot, combine green pepper, onion, celery, water, broth mixes and garlic salt. Cook, stirring frequently, until all vegetables are tender. Add chicken and tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and let simmer for 30 minutes. Add corn, beans and hot sauce to chicken mixture. Cook, uncovered, stirring frequently, for about 45 minutes.
