Tomato-Sausage Scramble - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Brown 'N Serve sausage, cut into 1/4-inch chunks
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 c. milk
    1 c. half and half
    8 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 small tomato, cut into chunks
    1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook sausage as label directs; drain any excess fat and keep sausage warm.
    In oven-safe medium skillet over low heat in hot butter, stir in flour until smooth.
    Gradually stir in milk and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
    In medium bowl, with fork or wire whisk, beat half and half, eggs, salt and pepper until blended; stir into sauce.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until eggs are slightly set.
