Granola - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. rolled oats
    1 c. unsweetened coconut
    1/2 c. sunflower seeds
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 large ripe bananas
    1 c. pitted dates
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients in large bowl.
    In blender, whiz bananas, dates and water.
    Mix all ingredients well.
    Spread on jelly roll pan 1/2-inch thick.
    Bake at 200\u00b0 for 90 minutes, stirring every 30 minutes until golden and almost dry.
    Turn oven off and leave pans in oven to complete drying.
    Store in airtight container.
    Wheat germ, bran, sesame seed and raisins can be added.
