Porcupine Sausage Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 tart apple, diced
    1/2 c. celery
    1 small diced onion
    few sprays parsley (optional)
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/4 c. chili sauce
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix sausage and uncooked rice and shape into 8 patties.
    Brown patties in covered pan with 1/2 cup water.
    Mix apple, celery, onion and parsley with bread crumbs and seasonings.
    Add filling between browned patties to form a loaf.
    Bake in loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
