Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cubed apples
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 c. salted (no skin) peanuts
    1 (8 1/4 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Save the pineapple juice.
    Bring it to a boil. Beat eggs, sugar, vinegar and flour together.
    Add juice until thick, then add Cool Whip.
    Add peanuts, pineapple and apples.
    Mix and refrigerate.
