Peachy Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef stew meat
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    4 carrots
    4 potatoes
    1 onion
    1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches, do not drain
Preparation
    Brown meat on all sides; strain meat fat.
    In saucepan, stir together tomato sauce, water and salt.
    Add stew meat.
    Bring to a boil; place lid on pan.
    Simmer on low heat for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
    Add vegetables; cover and cook 30 minutes more.
    Add peaches and liquid to stew.
    Cover and cook 10 minutes more.
    Makes 6 servings.
