Banana Nut Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. margarine
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs, vanilla and bananas. Mix well.
    Gradually add dry ingredients and sour cream.
    Pour into a 10 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done when tested.
    When cool, cut into desired pieces.
    May sprinkle with powdered sugar glaze flavored with banana.
    Yields 2 dozen.
