Caramel Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. brown sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. butter
    3 c. pecan halves
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Mix sugar, water, butter and salt.
    Come to a boil without stirring.
    When mixture has reached the rolling ball stage, drop in pecans and continue to cook until when a few drops are dropped into a cup of cold water and a hard balls is formed.
    Remove from stove and beat until slightly cool.
    Drop on wax paper.
