Cake Frosting(Flour In Filling) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook flour with milk over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Let cool.
    Cream butter and shortening.
    Add sugar, salt and vanilla.
    Beat at high speed with mixer.
    Gradually, add thickened milk mixture and beat well.
    May be used on any type of cake or cream rolls.
    Freezes well.
