Key Lime Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

grated rind of lime or lemon
1 Tbsp. butter
1/3 c. lime juice
3 eggs, separated
2 c. water
3 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. flour
1/3 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
baked 9-inch pie shell
meringue pie topping
Preparation

Combine the flour, sugar, cornstarch and salt in a saucepan and gradually stir in water.
Cook, stirring continuously
until thickened.
Gradually stir in the beaten egg yolks.
Then put back on low heat and cook, stirring every two minutes.
Stir in lime juice, butter and rind.
Cool slightly.
Pour into baked pastry shell and cool.
Add meringue topping.
Brown in oven.
