Company Coming Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts
18 soda crackers
1/2 pt. whipping cream
5 tsp. jelly or preserves
1 c. Angel Flake coconut

Preparation

Beat egg whites until foamy.
Add cream of tartar.
Beat until stiff.
Add sugar gradually.
Fold in vanilla, soda crackers and nuts.
Bake in greased 12 x 6-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for about 20 minutes or until top is light golden brown.
Let cool.
