Sweet Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rice (uncooked)
    7 to 8 c. chopped sweet onion
    1/4 c. melted oleo
    1 c. grated Swiss cheese
    3/4 c. half and half
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Cook rice in 1 cup boiling water 5 minutes; drain.
    Set aside. Cook onion in butter until limp.
    Combine all ingredients, mixing well.
    Pour into a greased 2-quart casserole dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
