Turmeric Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 average size head cabbage
1 large bell pepper
1 large onion
1 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. mustard seed or 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation

Chop cabbage, pepper and onion together; set aside.
Bring vinegar, sugar, salt, turmeric and mustard to a boil.
Pour over the cabbage, pepper and onion and mix well.
Put in refrigerator and chill 3 hours or overnight.
