Ingredients

2 lb. okra (with stems)
1 hot pepper
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. dill seed
pinch of alum
1 to 2 cloves garlic
4 c. vinegar
1 c. water
1/2 c. salt
Preparation

Pack okra in pint jars.
Add the next 5 ingredients to each jar.
Boil the remaining ingredients and pour over okra, then seal jars.
