Sausage Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 small fresh link pork sausages (approximately 1 lb.)
    1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
    1/2 medium sweet red pepper, chopped
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    3 c. cooked long grain rice
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
    1 tsp. dried basil
    4 to 5 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen corn, thawed
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
Preparation
    Place sausages on a rack in a baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cut into 1-inch pieces.
    Set aside.
    In a skillet, saute peppers in oil for 3 minutes. Place in 3-quart casserole.
    Add the sausages and the next 8 ingredients. Combine bread crumbs and butter. Sprinkle on top of casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until heated through.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
