Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 gal. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. rice
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Bring
    milk
    with salt to a boil; add rice.
    Be careful not to scorch.
    Cook slowly about 40 minutes or until rice is done. Beat
    eggs,
    sugar and vanilla together.
    Bring milk to boil again.
    Remove from heat and add egg mixture.
    Pour into bowl and cool.
