Colombian Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. canned drained garbanzo beans
    1/2 c. olive oil
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    1/2 tsp. ground coriander
    1 onion, sliced very thin
    1 lb. firm cream cheese
    crisp shredded lettuce
Preparation
    Mix olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper and coriander.
    Pour over lettuce, onions, olives and garbanzo beans.
    Chill covered 45 minutes.
    Place cream cheese in freezer for 30 minutes to help firm it up.
    Cut into cubes and refrigerate immediately.
    At very last minute, mix into lettuce.
    Serves 8.
