Candied Garden Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 or 10 peeled whole carrots
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    6 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Cook carrots in 1/2-inch water with 1/2 teaspoon salt added until just tender.
    Drain.
    In a small skillet, melt butter.
    Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved.
    Add carrots and cook over low heat, turning until well glazed.
    Makes 8 servings.
