Crab Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) can crabmeat, cleaned
6 tsp. butter or margarine
3 tsp. flour
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
dash of paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
3 tsp. sherry
1 1/2 c. half and half
1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
1/2 tsp. oregano (optional)
1/2 tsp. dill weed (optional)
Preparation

In
double boiler, melt butter.
Stir in flour, nutmeg, paprika, salt, sherry, cream and herbs.
Add crabmeat and stir until
thickened.
Add mushrooms.
Divide into individual oven plates
(4).
Sprinkle
grated
cheese over each.
Place under broiler
until
cheese
melts and mixture bubbles.\tServe over rice or Chinese noodles.
