Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
2 eggs
Preparation

Mix sugar and butter together until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Sift dry ingredients together. Stir in nuts. Bake in greased 8 x 8-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool in pan. Cut into squares or bars. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired. Makes 16 squares.
