Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. thinly sliced rhubarb
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 egg
    1 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Take rhubarb and 1/2 cup sugar and let set until sugar is completely dissolved.
    Beat until creamy 1 1/2 cups sugar, Crisco and egg.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Fold in rhubarb mixture and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Use tester to make sure cake is done.
    A very moist cake.
