Ingredients

1 c. water
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix water and cornstarch together and cook until thick; set aside to cool.
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla together; add to cooled cornstarch mixture.
Beat with electric mixer until it looks like whipped cream.
This will frost a 2 layer (9-inch) cake.
