Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 Tbsp. flour
2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 c. milk
3/4 c. coconut
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1 (9-inch) baked pie crust
Preparation

Mix
together
flour,
cornstarch,
sugar and salt.
Add milk. Cook
until thick.
Add 1/2 of the mixture to egg yolks. Stir well.
Add\tother 1/2 of mixture.
Stir well and return to same saucepan.
Cook 5 minutes longer.
Add coconut and vanilla.
Put in baked pie crust.
