Peppers Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 peppers (green)
    12 peppers (red)
    12 onions
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Chop peppers and onions.
    Cover with boiling water.
    Let stand for 5 minutes.
    Drain.
    Add vinegar, sugar and salt; boil mixture 5 minutes.
    Pour into clean hot jars and seal immediately.
    Good with hot dogs and hamburgers or dried beans.
