Mary'S Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium sweet potatoes
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    dash of nutmeg
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. apricot nectar
    2 tsp. grated lemon peel
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Peel, cook and slice sweet potatoes into 1-inch slices.
    Bring sugar, nectar, butter, lemon peel, cinnamon and nutmeg to a boil. Boil gently for 2 minutes.
    Arrange potatoes in a 12 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Pour sauce over potatoes.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes or until potatoes are heated through and sauce is bubbly.
    They should be turned occasionally.
