Beef Bourdelais - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    3 lb. sirloin tip (cut for stew)
    1 onion, diced
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    10 oz. beef bouillon or broth
    10 oz. red wine
Preparation
    Braise beef in margarine.
    Add onion.
    Mix flour and seasonings and add to beef.
    Pour in bouillon and wine and scrape pan well.
    Cover tightly and bake at 325\u00b0 for 4 hours.
    Serve over egg noodles or rice pilaf.
