Fresh Pear Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. chopped pears or 4 c. chopped apples
    3/4 c. salad oil
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Mix oil and sugar; blend in vanilla and eggs.
    Sift all dry ingredients and add to mixture.
    Add pears and nuts (optional). Mix well.
    Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cook 45 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Cool and ice with Cream Cheese Icing.
    Cut into 24 squares.
