Kiss Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    2 c. fine granulated sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 drops almond extract
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Beat egg whites very stiff; add sugar a little at a time. This is important.
    Sprinkle in cornstarch and salt; add flavorings and pecans a few at a time.
    Drop mixture by tablespoon onto a cookie sheet lined with brown paper.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    They are done when you can lift them from the paper.
