Ingredients

12 eggs
1 lb. butter, creamed
1 lb. sugar (2 1/2 c.)
1 lb. flour
1 nutmeg, grated

Preparation

Beat egg yolks separately.
Add butter and sugar.
Add flour and nutmeg.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until a knife comes out clean.
