Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can chunk pineapple
    1 can mandarin oranges
    1/4 c. sliced almonds
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 head romaine lettuce
    1/4 head iceberg lettuce
    2 medium stalks celery, chopped
    2 green onions, chopped (scallions)
Preparation
    Drain pineapple and oranges.
    Stir over low heat until coated the almonds and sugar.
    Cool and break apart.
    Set aside.
    Put remaining ingredients in a plastic bag.
