Pickle Peach Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) sliced peaches
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    3 whole cloves
    3 whole allspice
    1 cinnamon stick
Preparation
    Drain peaches in saucepan.
    Set peaches aside.
    To juice, add sugar, vinegar, cloves, allspice and cinnamon stick and bring to a boil.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Pour over peaches in heat-proof bowl. Cover and chill overnight.
