Old Fashioned Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cake flour
6 eggs
1/2 lb. country butter
1 2/3 c. sugar
juice of lemon
1 tsp. vanilla (may use 1/2 tsp. almond)
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time.
Fold in flour.
Add flavorings and lemon juice.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours in greased tube pan.
