Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. yellow corn meal
1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. shortening
1 c. white corn meal
2 eggs
1 c. milk
8 tsp. baking powder
1 c. crushed cracklins
Preparation

In a large bowl mix all ingredients together, except cracklins; beat for 1 minute.
Add cracklins.
Grease a 12-inch iron skillet or a 13-inch Pyrex dish.
Pour mixture into pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
