Hamburger Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 clove garlic, minced
    dash of pepper
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms or 1/2 to 1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 (10.5 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    Poppy Seed Noodles (recipe follows)
    fresh parsley or chives, chopped
Preparation
    In a large skillet, melt butter or margarine and brown onion; add ground meat and cook until meat is brown and onion is tender. Stir in flour, salt, garlic, pepper and mushrooms.
    Cook over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Stir in soup and heat until bubbly, stirring constantly.
    Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
    Stir in sour cream and heat through. Ladle over Poppy Noodles; garnish with fresh chopped chives.
